Adam has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He understands healthcare from a provider’s perspective, from leading accreditation renewal efforts to GPO contracting. Adam has a collaborative approach, bring a variety of perspectives together across disciplines to accomplish the goal, such as obtaining critical COVID-19 test kits, organizing health outreach programs, decompressing inpatient occupancy, and securing millions in committed capital.
Before joining NorthStar, Adam was interim Chief Financial Officer with Humboldt Park Health and instrumental in managing its initial and second wave pandemic response. Prior to HPH, he was a Group Vice President with Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA). At the predecessor to IHA, he helped to launch the Metro Chicago Health Information Exchange to reduce costs and increase quality of care. Adam was also Vice President at Principle Valuation and Citadel Group Limited.
In his current role at NorthStar, Adam manages the finance department’s operations and government affairs.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and was Visiting Lecturer at Loyola University’s Health Law Institute (Chicago, IL)
