Summary:
This month’s breakfast topic will focus on training requirements for shipping dangerous goods domestically on the ground (DOT requirements) and domestically/internationally via air (DOT & IATA requirements). This will include the different types of training called out by the DOT and ICAO, frequency of training, and the types of fines and penalties that can be assessed when a dangerous goods employer does not properly train his/her dangerous goods employees. Andrew will also go over marking and labeling Category B Biological Substances for shipment and shipping with dry ice.
After the presentaion, UPS representatives will be available to answer any additional questions on the following topics:
